Regular transport between Ireland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary

We provide reliable and regular transport for parcels, personal belongings, live pets and various types of goods between Ireland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary – in both directions. We can collect your shipment anywhere within any of these countries and deliver it directly to your door.

We operate this transport service every three weeks, in both directions, which allows for efficient route planning, ensures stable collection and delivery times, and provides flexible solutions according to our clients’ needs. At individually arranged times, we also offer full vehicle hire together with an experienced driver.

Order and transport duration

After completing and submitting the online order form, we send an order confirmation to the sender’s email address. At the same time, both the sender and the recipient receive a confirmation SMS confirming that the order has been registered.

The collection of shipments begins 1–2 days before the selected date in the order and usually takes 2–3 days, depending on the number of pickups scheduled for that period.

The transport itself usually takes 5–12 days; the delivery time depends on the destination and on the number of shipments being transported during that period. On the day before delivery, we contact the recipient by phone. If we cannot reach them, we also send an SMS with the planned delivery time.

Transport of pets

We offer safe, comfortable and reliable transport for your pets. We transport your dog or cat from Ireland to Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary – and in the opposite direction as well.

Magyar Futár is one of the few companies that legally provides pet transport services. We are listed in the official register of transport providers of the Slovak Republic; the list of approved carriers is maintained by the State Veterinary and Food Administration (ŠVPS).

We hold a Type 2 transporter authorisation, which allows us to transport animals on long-distance journeys exceeding 8 hours throughout the EU and beyond.

Our drivers hold a certificate of professional competence for animal transport, which guarantees professional and safe handling throughout the entire journey.

The vehicles we use for transporting animals are approved by the ŠVPS for long journeys (Type 2) and meet all technical and animal welfare requirements necessary for comfortable and safe transport.
